PD-Trak™ Action Item Register

The PD-Trak™ Action Item Register provides a formal mechanism to track both open and closed action items through the development cycle. The register provides a useful everyday tool for team members to identify and track required actions as well as providing a more formal record of action items generated during design reviews and stage-gate reviews. This tool provides an effective means of managing action items and helps to avoid one of the most common problem areas in ISO 9001 audits.

Actions can be recorded by any team member. Actions are assigned responsibility for resolution and a due date. This becomes an effective day-to-day tool for managing the project. When actions are completed, the date they are closed and the resolution is noted. These closed action items can then automatically be moved to the closed action item list to maintain a complete record for the project.
