Master Project Schedule

This is the primary management report in PD-Trak which lists all of the projects that are part of the overall, current project portfolio.  Each project is identified by name and with a brief description.  Fixed fields show the current project phase, next review type / date and a full set of gate dates.

The Master Project Schedule (MPS) can be sorted by any field and can be filtered in a variety of ways e.g. by project status (proposed, active, on-hold, closed etc.), process name, project manager's name, or by customized project categories that are set up for your company.  The filters that are applied to the MPS are applied to all other management reports i.e. the MPS is the master for filtering all management reports.

Project Metrics Section
Different metrics can be mapped into this section of the report based on the needs/philosophy of your particular management team. All of the data shown in the management reports is automatically extracted from the Project Files.

Gate Dates Section
This section shows baseline vs. current dates for all project gates and major milestones allowing project delays to be tracked.  The color coding used in this table gives an overall impression of the organization's performance in on time completion of projects.

Gate Calendar Section
This report shows the gates on a monthly calendar that shows one year of history and one year into the future.  The upper row for each project shows the baseline planned gate dates, the lower row shows the actual gate dates (if in the past) or current plan (if in the future).
